I had two books and was embarrassed to bother him for more than one autograph. The first was the first Legion comic he wrote, published when he was a teen. He seemed pleased to see it again. The second was an early issue of "What If?" he'd written. He seemed puzzled at my choice, so I told him "I've always considered this a particularly good piece of writing."
