If you don’t use it, you commit an error of fact"<br /><br />To be fair, even long before DC acknowledged him, some people referred to Bill Finger as the creator or co-creator of Batman, sometimes even ahead of Kane, and when I have occasion to mention the creators of Wonder Woman I cite Harry G. Peter as an unacknowledged co-creator despite DC not recognizing him (not even a "special thanks" in the movie, despite other creators with trivial contributions being thanked), so "errors of fact" aren't always wrong. In this case, if neither you nor Von Eeden have stated a problem with this wording there's no reason not to use it. Although DC getting it wrong in two reprint volumes to date kind of undermines it.<br /><br />I understand your reasoning on urging DC to go with this book, but I think it's a bit of a shame that the books coming out closest to the TV show debut are this Volume Two, which is pretty lackluster based on the stories I remember reading, and a new edition of the "Year One" series, which I didn't care for at all based on the first issue (and that one even gets a TV tie-in photo cover). Hopefully by season two the excellent 90s series and the collection of the hopefully excellent (waiting for the collection...) new series will be available.Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05628851838591913073noreply@blogger.com
