They go to all this trouble to be gritty and realistic, but then they Fail Nuclear Physics Forever [tm] when it comes to the central MacGuffin of the last movie. They introduce new characters that are obvious retreads of supporting characters from the comics for no apparent reason. And then there's Bale's Bat-voice...Troy Baerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02535423262589051963noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2252129938551938631.post-19577473318401801842012-12-31T20:47:57.026-05:002012-12-31T20:47:57.026-05:00Miki was the psychic. She is a bit older than Miki. Although I enjoyed it a little more than you did, I was still disappointed in it. Bruce Wayne's "bum knees" were forgotten after he donned the costume again. <br /><br />On "Godzilla vs. Biollante," psychic Miki Saegusa (Megumi Odaka) wasn't "romantically involved" with the scientist. She didn't get any romance until 1994's "Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla." I think she was about 17 at the time "Biollante" was made. Anyone who didn’t figure out that she was Talia the second that Ra’s Al Ghul was mentioned has never read a comic book in their life."<br /><br />Ouch! Feel like I've been kicked in the 'nads. I (along with my 30 yr old son) did not put 2 and 2 together and figure this out. In our defense, the trilogy is so divorced from the comic continuity that Talia never entered my consideration... My mind was still boggled trying to fathom the whole prison sequence (including Bruce's amazing physical recovery).Sherman Westnoreply@blogger.com
