NEW COMIC NEWS. Although the current plan is for the artist of my new trans super-hero series to launch a Kickstarter for it, until that Kickstarter is launched, we're open to offers from publishers. However, those publishers should know I will not give up editorial control or ownership. Yeah, sure, if the publisher is uncomfortable with the occasional F-bomb, that's something we can discuss. But they should stay in their lane. We're the creators, not them.
While I'm willing to share in profits form any ancillary rights, I will not cede them to a publisher. These would be joint decisions with me having the final say. I've seen too many publishers try to grab all the rights without doing anything beyond publishing already completed material. My days of being a chump are behind me.
The artist? That's his news to share when he's ready.
