    Didn't Kirk Alyn actually star in two Superman serials? Then there was the low-budget movie with George Reeves that also became a two-part story for The Adventures of Superman television series.

    Nope, Alyn was in one, Reeves was in the other (Superman and the Mole Men).

    I beg to differ: 1) Superman (1948); 2) Atom Man vs. Superman (1950). Superman and the Mole Men (1951) starring George Reeves was not a chapter serial.
